I just got my car back from the shop. I have a 1991 eagle talon tsi, with a 16g turbo boosting at 10 psi, 3" exhaust system, and performance intake filter. I recently just got my exhaust flex pipe fixed, because it was leaking horribly. I just got the car a week ago, and it was really fast, and then after it started leaking exhaust out the flex pipe, it started to seem as if it slowed down a lot. I got the exhaust fixed, and the car seems noticibly faster, like it was before. but still odd. the turbo boosts at 10 around 3.5 - 4 rpms, and doesnt start boosting until around 3. When i punch it, it holds 10 from 3.5 rpms, all the way until redline, and then when i shift, it seems like it did before, its still faster, its just odd. i dont know if it was the way it was before, or if this is normal. The hose from the I remember, that before my recirculation turbo inlet pipe was bent, it was more like a rubber hose, and now i fixed it a lot more, and it only bends just a little bit. i can hear the stock bov more, and the turbo more as well. Please tell me if all of this is normal, or if theres something that could be wrong? thanks. My wastegate actuator looks a little rusted too, and i dont think that could be anything, but might as well just add. also, my PCV valve's rubber hose is kinked as well, but still seems as if some w/e fluid or air can still pass through, but still seems very kinked. My car started purging just a little bit after i stopped when i had my exhaust leak, and then went away, and came back later, and once i got my exhaust leak fixed, it was only purging just a little bit, and now it seems as if the purging went away. Please give me some pointers on these questions.:barf:

What do you mean by "purging?" I would suggest doing a boost leak test first. If you don't know how to do that, don't worry. There's a great write-up here. Also, are you venting your BOV to the atmosphere? If so, you should immediately put it back into recirculating status. After you do the boost leak test, get back to us and we can help you out further from there.
