car blowing cold air when hott

Ill push the car hard for like a couple miles and then turn the heat on and it will be blowing cold air. thinking that the heater core could be out. does any one know where its located.

It's up underneath the dash on the passanger side. Did you try replacing the thermostat? They're only like $6.00 with the gasket. Mine blew cold air and when I drove for alittle while for some reason the cars operating tempature would lower. As soon as I replaced the thermostat, everything was normal again.

Have you tried putting water in it through the fill cap and not the overflow bottle?

Geepers, must be 20 people all posting the same problem this week... yegads I think we are in danger here. Just think, they did away with auto shop and replaced it with WHAT.

Let us know if it's using water after you get it properly filled.
