2G Can someone tell me what this is?

Alright so I have a 2g and in the past (in the part pictured below) there was a wire attached to in the back and led to the coil pack. The wire got pulled out somehow and the corner chiped away and without it, it causes engine problems. Can someone please tell me what this is and where to find a new one. Thank you.

No idea what that thingy ma bobber is. But I can say a 2G junk yard car probably has it. And since 2Gs were around longer than the 1Gs. You'll have way better luck than I do.

It's a coil pack resistor I believe, 1gb and 2g coil pack will have one, not too sure about 1ga.

Is it attached to ? Looks like the resister on the bottom.

Go to a junk yard near you, and fine coil pack off Dsm.

Well you could buy a brand new one from extremepsi!!
I just bought a their knuckle, balljoint, and LCA, got a great deal, great quality "from looks, haven't tested yet", and quick shipping!

But if you want to just replace that part, going to have to junkyard it up, or find that part number hoping someone stocks it!

You could call extremepsi and they may help you with that!

Personally I would find someone on here in the classifieds parting their car and buy one that way, could probably snag it for 20$
