the other day i got my ecu caps replaced and whenever we removed the ecu cover to expose the board we noticed that one of thos black long chips on the side of the ecu closest to the wire connector, was slightly melted and there was black smoke residue above on the cover were they were located, can someone please tell me what these things control or what could've been damaged, my car runs completely fine but, i just changed my caps because i was sitting in my car at idle and it died and it took a little bit to start it back up and then i smelt a burnt electical smell, but it runs completely normal so i dont know, ... anybody gotta clue?
