Can I use 2g valves in a 1g head?

My timing belt jumped again and this time I think it bent valves. The engine only has 10k on it and I was wondering if my old 2g valves would fit my 1g head. My old 2g head has 100k on it and is still good. Is it ok to pull head and swap valves and then put it all back or do I have to bring it to be machined?

valves / head have to be machined .. you can't just drop in a set of valves.

It just needs a normal valve job, nothing special.

I would have a machine shop do it. Since they have all the tools to do the job quick and they really dont charge that much.
