No. It's completly opposite from how a turbo engine is normally mounted in your car.

A 95-98. I think I would rather have a 6 bolt, I found one with 22000 miles on it for like $1200...with 5 spd tranny.

elfroggo, the link you posted is from Tiger Japanese. Do NOT do business with these people. I bought a JDM motor from them because I walked my 7-bolt, and a JDM seemed the easiest way to get a motor ready to drop-in. Boy was I wrong. We got the motor and discovered once we tore into it a bit, that it had snapped the BS belt which had then gotten into the timing belt causing it to jump time and smash all the intake valves. Now, they had a motor on their site at that time for $550 with bent valves. Would it not make sense to reimburse me the difference between the two, since what I got was a motor with bent valves? No, they only gave me a couple hundred back, which wasn't enough to cover the head I had to buy along with all the other parts that needed to be replaced.

They are in Canada, what did they charge to ship it?
I noticed the pic has the tranny, I'm sure they don't include that either...
How can you really tell it's a JDM anyway? Versus they got it out a junkyard here?

Yea, I would like to have a "newer" motor, but how do we tell if its a real jdm, and does anyone know where to get a good one from?
