can bad compression cause idle surge

Ya bad compression could also make the car not run at all. What is the compression?

i think it was 180-120-100-145. theres no blown gasket there, just the product of a bad rebuild from a certain shop in teledo ohio

The piston rings messed up or the hg is bent somewhere?
