calling all las vegas DSM tuners

hey whats up people my name is daniel and im new to the forum, ive owned a couple of DSM's in the past i love the cars but there is no club/ crew we need to back eachother up i own a business called RG mobile aerodynamics www.rgmobile.com i would be more than happy to host meets at my shop every saturday or sunday plus i could use a little help i just purchased a 90 talon TSI with a rebuilt motor and trans but the problem is the person who took it apart threw all of the bolts into a coffee can no labeling no specification so if anyone has those specs i would gratley appreciate it but back to my point lets start off with make it when you can on the weekend fri. night sat. all day long or sun. all day just so we can all have a common ground thats dsm freindly also there is a graphics shop next door called BCE designs he does good cheap stickers and lettering my shop address is 4560 Donovan way unit G its right on craig and the down the street from the holiday inn

id be down to meet up once a month if u guys were holding weekly get togethers... i live 300 miles from las vegas, but i have several friends with gambling problems that would be willing to pitch in for gas and make a weekend out of it...

Yeah I live near LA also, and I go out to Vegas alot. I am actually going to be out there not this weekend but next weekend (labor Day weekend) maybe we can all meet up then.

I am hoping to get there on Friday in time to go out to lvms "the strip" and get a few passes down the track.

Good to see the LVDSM community starting to organize!

SoCal Rob and myself have been working with Axa up there in Vegas to try and bring our three communities together before too long. Not like into a single website, but perhaps along the lines of putting on some events in our respective states. azDSM has been out to SoCal for cruises and MOD, and SoCal DSM has been up to Vegas to meet up with az2gnt as well. Some of us have some big plans for the future and we're excited to see people in LV come together and start meeting up regularly.

I'll be sure to check out that sincity2g site. There are also a handful of LVDSMers on Team-2g.com if you want to get the word out a bit farther.

I was just thinking this same thing. I just moved back to Vegas after a 6 year stay in Minot North Dakota (damn Air Force). I was wanting to get the pulse of the DSM sceene in Vegas. Most peeps around this town just care about looking good and saying their car is fast. I was a founding member of Side Effects back in the day and was thinking of maybe getting a DSM or Turbo Vegas club together. Would be nice to get orginized and maybe go on a few cruises and get some good pictures and video. My 2G won't be up here until next year but I have my 1G here which is my race car anyways so yeah. I'll definitly come.

On a side note. I've taken a few 4G63's apart and I always just use one big can to throw all the bolts into. It's not all that hard to figure out what bolt goes where unless you clean them all up then it's a little harder but still not that difficult. I'm definilty going to check out the other sites and head up to the shop and chit chat. Hope to be seeing a good future Vegas DSM group. I'll most likely be at the drag stip on Thursday's as well if you all want to come and race or just watch me maybe blow my car up. I've been throwing 30 PSI at a stock bottom end just waiting for it to blow up, but no dice yet .

Hey I Brian I have been on the site for a bit but just lurking in the shadows. I have a 95 Talon that I built up but the wife hit a cement barier in it. Here is a pic before the accident. The car is up in Reno right now but im bringing it down in a couple weeks and i'm thinking about turning it into a full race car. Anyone with some input on good inexpensive parts let me know. I need a front bumper, hood, fenders (preferably fiberglass on the hood and fenders), or a one piece front end, radiator support, radiator, and front mount

Hey guys I'm new to the forums. I'm from Vegas I too am like Brian " just lurking in the shadows" waiting for some of us to get together and make things happen. That'd be the coolest thing. I got a few mods on my DSM I'd like to share with you guys. For any locals here I'm on the SE part of town so we should make a little closer to the Strip as possible that way no one gets discouraged.

I need to get my tsi a new engine and have it installed somewhere....anyone know of a good shop in the Vegas area and a few leads on a new engine? Ive called a few importers that Road Race has for suggestions but they just dont have the turbo motor of a 1G available. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
