California drivers.....what tires are you guys using here?

Listen, get the Ziexs. They're cheap and will be fine.

What are these Ziexs? Where can I get them, and how much for a 205/55/zr16 size? Should I run the stock tire size or change it up a bit?

he's talking about the falken ziex512. i put those on my mom's car last week. they'll be fine..and they're cheap. you can find them at america's tire company or on vulcantire

Im looking for sticky tires for my fwd, i dont care about wet weather traction (yes,it rains alot here, burt i only drive the dsm in the summer anyways.. treadlife is not an issue for me )

So, i take it to the track one weekend a month from may till october.. so, a tire that can do decent a 60ft in the 1/4 - and also play occasionally on the Nürburg Ring would be interessting.

Now then, ive basically narrowed it down to the RT 615 and Kuhmo ecsta MX.. but im also hearing about BFGs extreme performance KD .

Another interessting tire would be the Nitto 555 /555r and the BFG Drag radial (but the low speed rating is a turn off)

Between the RT615 and the Kuhmo MX i would chose the rt615, but the MX is still a great tire. the price for RT615's are really cheap now too
