I was just wondering how stupid of an idea this would be to buy. I'm assuming I should stay away from it, but I am jus wondering. Should I look into it? He's asking $2300.
Up for sale today we have one of my projects. It's a 95 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with a five speed and 2.0L DOHC that I was told when I bought it had only had approximately 30,000 miles on the engine(I've added around 5,000 on top of that). I've only had it turboed for 1,500 miles. It's a nice car, not perfect but in decent condition for the age.
Now for the good stuff, this is the list of what's been done to the car. Everything here has 1500 miles on it.
Treadstone style turbo manifold
T3/T4 60 trim turbo
38mm External Wastegate with 8 psi spring
Vortech FMU
Turbo XS RFL blow off valve
Front mount intercooler and all piping
Braided lines to and from turbo
TreadstoneTreadstoneTreadstone performance Stainless steel Downpipe
3 in stainless steel exhaust with a 4 in tip
2.5 in catalytic converter
4 autometer guages, oil pressure, AFR, Water temp and boost....boost and water temp need hooked up.
3 guage pillar pod and dash pod
Tint
LED Rear lights and HID front headlights with angel eyes
new fender( the old one had a small dent in it)
97-99 style front bumper
It's all wired for a system with Rockford fosgate wires.
Included with the car, but not installed
Brand new Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Brand new Eibach pro kit springs with a 2 in drop
Brand new KYB GR2 struts and shocks
Brand new Phantom grip limited slip differential
I've invested alot of money into this project, unfortunately I cannot keep it anymore as I just bought a 95 supercharged mustang GT.
It was a very nice car, It has some bugs that need worked out but is well worth the price. It has a leak from the oil pan that needs fixed, one shock tower welded, and possibly a new egr.
Right now the turbo is off, because I was planning on rebuilding the engine with forged internals, so I could safely run more psi. I can put it back on though. This is a very nice car, it will run around a 13.9 -14.3 with everything installed. With a built engine it'll run in the 11's and remain docile until the turbo spools. It also gets good mpg. I would recomend towing this car home because of the shock tower.
