The car is all stock ;-) with 110000 miles on the engine. I wanna know if that is good or bad for a turbo car.....also the crankwalk bs. well please tell me in your opinion about the car. Looking forward to a reply. thanks :dsm: :dsm:

btw this will be my third eclipse......1g GS and a 1g GS J-Spec :dsm:

no crankwalk with any of them....but the damn 2g's please tell me

buy it, imo crankwalk is a very oversaid word. it rarely happens. the car is stock and it hasnt walked yet so it wont. aslo what are your plans for the car? does it have the eprom ecu? also whats the build date, ive heard that the very early 95's had stronger metal in the block than the later, same(?) metal used in the 1g engines. also imo they are the best looking dsm :D :dsm:

I can help you out a tad better...the early production cars had/have EPROM ECU but later production cars (like I have) do NOT have EPROM ECU. Also, with the 2g 95's they come with an LSD and it's the 7 bolt motor. As for mileage, that's decent and not bad for the T25 if it was kept at stock boost. If you come to find out that the turbo has tons and tons of shaft play a 14b or another T25 is not too expensive. If it's a good deal I would say go for it and like steve-o said CW is such an overused word. Good Luck dude :thumb: :dsm:

Only AWD's came with the LSD. The GST's did not come with an LSD. :thumb:

vkalloo - How much are you paying for it? Do not worry about cw. If it was going to happen to that car, it wold have happened before 110K. :thumb:

yeah dude....i really appreciate that....the eclipses are wonderful cars....btw i saw in the shop a green 1997 3000gt vr4......i felt like stealing her and takin her for a spin.....u kno....

thanks again for the info.....any problems you experience with you cars.

also i wanna kno how hard is it to swap out a 1990 6 bolt turbo into that car and what is needed...as far as the harnesses etc....the work is being done by myself.

its not too hard to swap a 6 bolt motor to the car. the worst part is the wiring. i have an email that has a everything you will need and i think detailed instructions on what to do. ill pm that to you tonight after work

-steve

i found the email, 99gst_racer i sent you the email. vkalloo ill need your email, its too large for a pm. later ill split it up and make it a tech article for anyone else who wants to take a look

Oh yea DUH, I forgot he was getting a GST. As for the 7 bolt block I have no problems with it what so ever besides the known stuff like:

Ticky Lifters
AC Compressor Clutch

Thats about it. I am still deciphering whether to get the upgraded ball style lifters and going to cut my AC Belt anyways since the winter is coming and it's never really hot enough in PA for AC. Other then those my car runs perfectly fine *knocks on wood* but I am also upgrading/doing maintinence my car like every Sunday too.

Actually, the cheapest thing to do is to upgrade to the 3G Eclipse lifters. They do fit and they dont tick and they are really cheap on the web. There is a vfaq on how to do it w/o removing anything but the valve cover. :thumb:
That's probably what I'll do this winter....... :dsm:

Cheaper then $140???!?!?!? Let me check that out...you are a life saver if they are! :dsm: BTW if you could link/PM me to that VFAQ that would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I believe you can find 3G lifters on eBay for like $50. If you do the work yourself, you'd have an extremely cheap upgrade and quiet lifters. :thumb:
