bumper exit for external dump...

I own a 1G and after the motor is back in I plan on either an external O2 dump or an external wastegate for the 52 trim...anyway, in a few mags i have seen a hole cut in the front bumper of the car to which the dump is connected. I think this would be pretty badass and get rid of those hot gases instead of directing them on the oil filter... Just wondering if anyone has done this on a DSM and how big of a project it would be...just one of those things i think up while waitng for money for internals... Thanks in advance for any input!!

ive seen it on a dsm. not that big of a deal.
hardest part would be finding a flange to use on the bumper

That doesn't make sense to me, increase the length of the dump and wrap/angle it back.
