I have a 3" RRE downpipe I want to put on my car... But I have a crappy 2.5" "custom" cat-back exhaust. I have a buddy that does welding, so I was curious... How hard would it be for me to build my own 3" cat-back with straight 3" piping and 3" mandrel bends? I fashioned my own intercooler piping out of straights and mandrels, so how hard could it be to do an exhaust that has less bends?
