My antenna just died on me last night, well starting to die.
It goes up half way but then it gets stuck i hear the motor trying to push it up but nothing. :(
When i turn off the car it doesnt go down unless i give it a push.
I really hate how this happens.
Anybody have a remedy to fix this?
I want to keep it on btw.

You can buy just the antenna part from the dealer. Mine broke last year and ran about $50 if i remember right. Its not too bad to replace, but does take some time to pull everything apart to install the new antenna.

Sounds like you just need a new antenna mast. Mine broke a few years back. You can pick them up a most autoparts stores from $20 or ebay has them for about $14.

you can use something like that but you will loose the ability to raise and lower the antenna. If you want to maintain the stock function you will have to find an exact replacement and not a "universal" antenna. I wasn't able to find a new one anywhere except the dealer, though i never checked ebay.....

Lol, ^^ thats the one i bought earlier.
Thanks Silver, hope its not a pita to change,
