2G Brand new ACT 2600 toasted?

not thread jacking, but i just put in my brand new 2600, new fork and new pivot ball(oem) with no shim behind it, and the clutch releases real low to the floor! i thought you DO NOT shim a new fork and ball? does this mean i have to drop the trans again and shim my new fork and ball?

yes, thats why you should put the shim behind the shift fork ball. Then you can either shim the slave cylinder away from the clutch fork a little or i think th emastercylinder mod.

OK GUYS! took tranny out, my 2600 pp has 3 fingers that are lower then the rest of them. I threw in the new unsprung 6 puck disc with new ball, and new t.o.b , and new fork. Got it all together and wont go in any gear. Adjusted pedal and the fork bottoms out on the bell housing. I also took a huge shim out that was in there before. Now I can start the car in first gear but doesnt want to come out when i have it started.. What do i do? Add a shim or Pressure plate is ####ed? or is it a definite both? Any input please?
