There's always a catch when buying something used (as most of the stuff on my car is).
I got a set of KYB AGX front struts installed Sunday (already had the rears on there from 1.5 ago) and the adjusters have been messed up a little bit. I don't know what the adjustment directions are (turning counter clockwise makes it stiffer or softer
) or how far they are supposed to turn. The little black tops that you are supposed to stick a flat-head screwdriver into to adjust them were strippped out
, so I popped them out and now I can stick a screwdriver into the top to adjust them, but they infinately spin in either direction.
These already feel better than the GR2s that I was running before, now I'd just like to take advantage of the adjustability
Any help would be great. I read through all of the old posts to get suggestions on street/DD settings
, now I need to figure out how WTF ....
