Boosting problems? Need any help ASAP!

I have a 92 talon tsi, over the weekend i went on a trip probably about 300 miles. I get back to town and notice that when i boost past 10psi its like im not boosting at all. The car ran great before i took it on the trip. I have a manual boost guage and manual boost controller set between 14-15psi. It couldnt be a boost leak could it. The reason i say that is because all the emissions parts were removed so the vacumme line for my boost guage runs straight from the manifold. So when my guage reads 15psi i have to have 15psi in the intake mani. Also once i boost around 15 and the car really isnt pulling i can let off the throttle a little and once the boost drops to like 10-12 it starts pulling again. I also noticed that now once my car warms up its like i have a bad coolant sensor it idles at almost 1500 then like bogs back down to 900. Then i gave it a little gas and the ilde dropped down way low and it died.

a boost leak wouldnt be a bad idea. Is your bov recirced?

it could be a minor case boost leak...if i were you i would check my exhaust gaskets and also if you have a stock intercooler, they tend to leak where the upper hose is. as for your idling...if its not related to your boosting problems check your idle air control valve from the throttle body... did you ever take your throttle body apart and clean the iside? sometimes this fixes idling problems....or you might have to replace your idle air control valve. check if its working.

Definitely sounds like a boost leak, definitely check for loose couplers.

driving for 300 miles must have cause something to come loose and cause a boost leak. check your ic pipes, j-pipe, and bov.

Agreed. Boost leak. Could be something stupid like the BISS screw/seal.

Sounds alot like my car. I am having the same issues. I adjusted my CPS and it stopped dieing (at stops) when i adjusted the biss screw with the CPS. Then my turbo would only boost to 7 psi out of 14. So i took my turbo and manifold off to come and find out that my Manifold is Cracked almost 360 my gaskets are toast from turbo manifold to Cat, My turbo also has a little play up down left right but not in n out. Id say 1 1/2mm.

Ill have a new turbo setup on it this weekend for sure. If you havent fixed yours ill let you know how mine goes.
