Hi there,

here's Mike from Switzerland.
I've got a little question.

I'm about to buy a manual boost controller.
I first wanted to buy a Joe P ....manual boostcontroller.
But then I found a guy in Germany, who pruduces them by himself.

My question is now.
Do I have to look especially for something?/Do I have to pay attention to something at the boostcontroller, or is every boostcontroller good for my 2g GSX ?

http://www.boost4you.de/ventildetail.htm (sorry, it's all in german ;), but i think it looks quite good)

Thanks a lot.....

Theres really nothing special you need to look for, just make sure it doesnt leak out around the bolt, and that its got a small bleeder hole, which helps control boost above 15psi or so.

You can make one yourself for under $10, if you have a hacksaw, a 1/32" drill bit, and a 3/8" tap.

Good luck.

EDIT: Link already posted.

the key is after you make it, make sure to watch your boost gauge and verify that your not running too much boost, or too little
if you running to much cut a coil or 2 off the spring, if you are running to little sterch the spring or get a taller one

repeat steps until you get the right config for your car

thanks

If you don't want to build a boost controller then the Joe P. MBC is EXCELLENT :thumb: had it on my car for a year and never had a problem with it. Best 15$ I ever spent on the car.
