Boost Problems, New BOV

alright, i just replaced my 2g stock bov with a Type RS bov, and all of a sudden my car is boosting to 20lbs, and then bogging. I have already checked every single line. I dont really know whats causing this. Im using the stock BCS until my MBC comes in. Any ideas?

A mod list would help. I would say check your wastegaste as my first guess. If you have a internally gated turbo.

i have an actual boost gauge, so im not just basing it off my stock one.

Well take the vaccuum line off of the wastegate and route it to your j pipe, that should be around 11psi on boost, and if it goes to 20 pounds of boost i would suspect abad wastegate.

replaced the turbo on this, and its still doing this!! i know the wastegate is good on this turbo for sure.

It honestly sounds like there is an issue with your boost source if you are sure the wastegate is good. Are you still running the stock BCS? If so, try running a straight vacuum line from a boost source to your wastegate nipple like stated above.

I am also having this similar problem with my t25 and it is a good turbo, i know this because it came off my previous gst which it worked perfectly fine. I'm suspecting my wastegate went bad or the arm is staying stuck closed. I suggest you try pumping your wastegate with an air compressor and see if the arm opens.
