Boost Gage Inaccuracy?

My SPI Boost/Vacuum gage reads 1/2 psi of boost w/the ignition off. My 2nd gen Eclipse reads a max of 13psi of boost w/a stock turbo & no boost controller, et cetera. I think 12 - 12 1/2 max psi is typical for this situation on a 2nd gen. Wonder if mine is accurate or if I need to add 1/2 psi to all my readings. Does anyone know how or where to get this boost gage checked for accuracy and/or calibrated? Just ordered a boost controller & want to make sure I'm getting accurate readings. Does anyone know if SPI is still in biz? Couldn't find them in a Google search.

The gauge is supposed to be at 0 during the car being off.

My stock 2g w/ a 1g bov sits at 15 w/o the solenoid. I am doubtful of my gauge also.

A half a pound won't matter.

You can hook up a second gauge that you've convinced yourself is more accurate, and see if the first one is really off.
