okay here is the problem, i installed my MBC and autometer boost gauge, i am getting boost readings ranging from about 12 psi to 17 psi. I am running a b16g turbo, stock o2 housing, 2.5 inch downpipe, 2.5'' high flow cat(test pipe??), to 3 inch exhaust.

I hooked up my MBC by: t-ed off the blow-off valve line to the intake manifold, and ran the other line to the turbo.

then capped the intake piping nipple, and both nipples on the solenoid.

Help i am a complete newbie at this and dont want to blow my engine, i want to be running at 12 psi, what do i need to do?

well when u boost creep, do u have the throttle half open? what happens is that ur getting to much fuel and not enough air which will hurt the engine. so when in vacuum just make sure not creepin up, don't know if that answers your question. maybe u can get a better answer from some one else. this is all i know about boost creep

Opening up the wastegate passage on the o2 housing should help reduce creep. The outlet on the stock 2g o2 housing from the wastegate is literally the size of a quarter, maybe smaller. Also a larger wastegate flapper and enlarged wastegate passage on the turbo can reduce boost creep.

I would also suggest maybe a larger 02 sensor housing like the Evo one. That sets you up for if you ever get a 3" DP. And about running 12psi I think that's what the car runs stock....
