Hopefully someone can help. I have read all the other bogging issues that other people have but it seems that they have the problem all the time. I have a 2nd gen. with 3 inch cat back exhaust and kn filter. that is it. And what is happening is that the car will start bogging under boost but only sometimes and once I hit the next gear at wot it is just fine on acceleration. For instance first will bog but then the rest of my gears accel. just fine. I have changed the fuel filter plugs, and wires but still does it. any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Could a cat be the issue or even the fpr?

but if it were a boost leak wouldn't bog all the time? This is why I think it could be like the fpr sticking or something. Also I was told that it could be the bearings on the turbo sticking. But again it would do it everytime. I still hit full boost even when it is bogging, just the car is moving alot slower than usual. But I accelerate fine once I hit the next gears up.

my car dose the same thing, you need to rebuild the turbo I beat you that the bearing is sticking and it dose not have to do it all of the time. insteadof changing gears to make the stop booging just tap on the accelator, it will only get worse if you dont fix it

so it could be the turbo bearings, have checked fuel and boost leaks and I am fine there. Now if it is the turbo I have no shaftplay, and it sounds ok spooling up and I am still hitting the same amount of boost on my boost gauge when it is bogging could it still be the turbo or could it be the fuel pump?
