anytime i put load on the engine or go wot the car bogs and i get backfiring thru the in take.

im not getting a cel

ive changed the following with no change....

coil
spark plugs
tps
coolant temp sensor
cam sensor
crank position sensor

could this be fuel pump going out?

The way I see it there are two possibilities here. Firstly, you need to check your mechanical timing. All marks where they should be when the crank is at TDC. If they arent, your backfiring almost certainly is bent valves. That is a pretty common symptom of bent valves.
Once you have verified timing is correct, I would suggest getting your ECU out and looking at the capacitors on the board. I don't know that the capacitor problem is as widespread as first gens were, but it certainly shares a lot of symptoms mine had with a bad ECU.

ive also replaced fuel filter...

ill check timing first thing in morning and report back.

if the timing is off is it possible i could reset it and valves be ok?

what would cause it to get out of time? tensioner?

also...it will run great part throttle all the way to redline. still has plenty power. idles perfect

It usually skips time due to improperly setting the initial tension on the belt. Then the tensioner rod has to extend further than it should have to so it can pick up the belt slack. Everything will *seem* ok. Eventually the tensioner runs out of adjustment room and can no longer keep proper tension on the belt as it stretches over time.
