well i got my motor out and i realized the bay was really dirty. so i started to clean it and then i realized that the whole bay needs work along with the rest of the car. so i think i am going to put my motor in and drive it for the summer and then save to do body work.
here is the question. do any body shops take out your motor and take the bay apart and put it back together to paint it?
have any of you had this done? if so how much should i be looking to spend? thanks for the help.

Body shop labor rate = $$$

Plus would you trust a body shop with reinstalling everything correctly?

Might as well tackle it yourself while everything is out. Your results will depend on how much time you spend on it. Good luck!

so what you are saying is to just pull the motor again when its time and have it towed off. there is a place by me that does motor swaps for hondas and they do incredible body work. i am just trying to get a ball park figure. i basically want it to look brand new with a few diff things in it.
