I have a 92 awd turbo talon with an Evo 3 motor/tranny and Im either going to rebuild this tranny or go with a different one for better performance. Are Galant VR4 trannys good for DSMS? Is it better than my Evo 3? What tranny should I go with?

Well if you have a 1G then you dont have an EVO3 motor because EVO 1-3 motors just dont fit into 1G with some modifications to the frame and custom motor moutns. You probably have a JDM GVR4 motor because it is a drop in. As for the transmission i would go with a rebuilt by ShepRacing.com, if it works on the fastest AWD DSM in the world it should be enough for you. :dsm:

How would an Evo 3 not fit in a 1g, its the same engine.... would appreciate it if youd hit me up on aim: JJoker965

If you decide to stay with a jdm tranny , it could also have the short or shorter throw shift links on the trans , i'd swap them out cause you could miss shift , that can get annoying having to be carefull when shifting(and costly). It's short from side to side , fore instance if you where to go from second to third you could , by mistake slam it into first or fifth. But some trans also could be the same as the U.S. trans just compare them before installing it or running the car. :talon:
