Hey guys, ive been doing alot of research on rims and tires for my 1995 gst...I really like the 17x9 rim +35mm offset but would this work with my stock suspension? i really dont wanna lower it or put coilovers on it right now because i have some other stuff to do to the car. but i will not mind if i have to roll the fenders. If it will not fit can you all give me some good rim/tire combinations for stock suspension?

Really could use some feedback gonna be ordering rims and tires soon

Not getting replies because there is a TON of information on this very subject. 17x9 +35 should fit at stock height. Once you lower, even an inch, you'll probably rub the outer fenders. It also depends on tire, if you go with a 255, you may need spacers so you don't rub on the upper control arms but not sure on this.

17x8 is more ideal with a 245/40 tire.

255 tire will rub on the rear knuckle, i had to space it out slightly as it was damn close, almost rubbing close, i run a 17x8.5" et36 and 255/40 tires, im having no issues with fenders and i think im around 1.5" front and 1.75" rear but i do have pretty stiff suspension,
