Best muffler tip size for 2GNT??? 2.5 inlet with 4.5 tip?

Hey guys i currently have a 2.5 inlet with 3.5 outlet tip carbon fiber muffler on my RS and am thinking of getting one with 2.5 inlet but a 4.5 outlet cause im just a bit unsatisfied with how small it looks. know i shouldnt go bigger than 2.5 inlet on the NT but would i have any problems with a 4.5 tip if i stay with a 2.5 inlet?? no smart answers please just wanting some help. thank you!

the tip size doesn't matter as long as it is equal to or greater than 2.5 in. The tip won't effect the exhuast presssure.

thank you very much for the quick reply! now it seems i cant find a good looking carbon muffler with a 4.5 tip since i cant afford the hks so it seems ill be settling for a tsudo N1 2.5 inlet with 4.5 tip...which im hoping those are the true measurements.

It's because you don't Have a turbo or people take their cats out.
In my opinion I would leave it at 3' tip.
Or a dual tip exhaust, if it's raspy in the end you can always weld a cherry bomb muffler after the cat
and that will take it away! GL

Unless you go turbo, any exhaust you put on there will sound like a fart cannon. It's just the nature of our cars.

hmmm..well thats weird cause my car isnt turbo and my exhaust sounds great..not raspy at all. its nice a deep and i get compliments all the time.
