looking to replace my dated headlight assembly from 95 GSX. Ive seen so many choices on fleabay, and various other sites, but very little ACTUAL pictures of them on dsms!
Would like to know what suited you best, price range and funcionely,
thanks

I had ebay halo projectors with black housings on my RS and even though a lot of people consider them ricey I thought they looked good. They had a pretty decent cutoff with decent light output as well. My only complaint was that after 9 months or so one of the halo's burnt out and from what i hear this is pretty common.

maybe not the best looking..but here's mine:

Yukiz and 95talongirl, are these the same headlights that you have on your car? How is the light output on them?

Looks like what I have. The light output is ok; its better than stock OEM ones that are all foggy (clean and clear OEM's are better); but definatly not the best. However, mine are just "projectors" without the HID option. There's a version of these with HID's.... so perhaps those have a better light output.

I love the blacked out look of them personally, just wish they were better quality.

And DGajre777, thanks for the comment! The car says "thank you!" :)

I'm on my phone so it will post a mobile web link. Just go to eBay and type in "dual halo eclipse".

I personally like the look of the oem headlights for our cars i think they look great and are some of the best looking factory headlights out there BUT... if your looking to do something else i think the halo projector headlights with the black background in the light looks awesome as well! they look really good with every color too and give it a MEAN agressive and more updated look

Just got mine done. My first retro and I plan to do another in the future to make them even better.

Ebay black housing with Morimoto Bi-Xenons. I got lucky with the headlights as they set well on my car with no gap at all. Taken with my camera and will get better pictures later on.

would like to see more pictures with lights off too. How is night time driving visibility with these?

Red devil those look great! What are those three little holes on the inside edge of the headlight? Is that a spot for someone to put led's or something in there! Post a write up of how your did your retrofit!

i bought the ebay halo style with the black housing, i havent hooked up the brights yet because i am gunna get another hid kit for those before i do. they fit ok and look even better but the light output is only ok, the cutoff looks kinda cheap-ish, ill get some night pics up tomorrow.

Stick with the oem housings and retrofit them with hid projectors.

I just did that with the morimoto mini h1 kit and it's super easy, just takes a little time, but you get that oem look with a good cutoff and they are bi-xenon. Here is a pic of the cutoff to give you an idea:

I'll take a better pic in the next couple days after I get them fully adjusted, just having a little problem with the stock horizontal adjustment screw at the moment.

+1.
My 97 Talon Headlights with Acura TL Bi-Xenon projectors retrofitted in plus E46R Shrouds.

I looked at a lot of your threads before I took the plunge on the hid install and they were very helpful :hellyeah:

Now hopefully I can do the led taillight conversion, may even do it with some EDM tails with the amber turn signals.

2ga ebay headlights with ebay HIDs. I sealed them with RTV when I got them and they have never leaked in over 2 years. Also the HIDs look amazing, the cutoff and output are pretty damn good with proper adjustment.

Sorry I didnt take any pictures as it was kinda rushed.

But basically what I did was buy the ebay headlights= these 97-99 ECLIPSE BLACK/AMBER HALO PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS 98 | eBay

Take apart my old ebay OEM style headlights and removed the flector. I then took a saw and cut off the high beam part and trimed the rest so that it would fit under the black housing lens cover.

Since my OEM lights were old and busted I couldn't use the main housing(which is why I plan to re do them again later) as I would of just installed the black housing lens on top of the OEM headlight. So instead I had to install the reflector buy drilling a hole so it would go on the threads where the orignal projector went. I then just installed the HID kit like stated here http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...04-how-hid-retrofit-97-99-oem-headlights.html

Needs a little adjusting but the level is perfect. With high beams on I can see everything since I technically have 3 headlights on. Low beam driving is as good if not better than my dads Merc E350:thumb:

Yes you can buy them with the leds but Im not looking to follow the trend all cars seem to be doing. I may do a proper write up when I do another set.

Dang... you got a great set! That's probably the best fitment I've seen with these light thus far. Looks good!

With any ebay lights, I've found that fancy little "extras" stop working very quickly (halos, led strips, whatever). I've had 3 sets of those lights, for 3 different cars and they all sh!t the bed after a couple of months. Grand Prix, Cavalier, and my GS.
Remember, you get what you pay for.

If you're going to spend the money, or even have the money for that matter, the S15 lights look SSIIICCCKKK!

That looks sick dude! Was that an ebay kit or home built? Id like to find a projector with hids that has purple halos.
