the picture above IS a 4G63...
Actually, YOU need to pay attention... that IS a 420A... Haven't you ever looked at your engine? No? Go do it, and compare it to that one. :thumb:

i like the car and the color and the engine work, the wheels could be better as well as the fender gap. i personally think the wing goes well with the kit and overall i like it, it looks nice and clean.

I personaly think WINGS are gey as ####ing hell.. @ least the ones that are 7' taller than the car!... I personaly love the 5 pice stock spoiler..

BTW they dont make the drift kit for 90-93 first gens do they?? (cause i want one!!!)

If I remember correctly, the drift kit works w/ 90 & 91's with a little fabbing. I could be wrong though..

Nice...but nowhere near the "best looking".

User-name: That is a 4g63t.

RipperXX: You make my head hurt.

I'm pretty sure this whole argument was started with the following picture.

attachment.php

User Name said something about the airfilter always being behind the right headlight. Then halvorja posted a pic of a 420a in a 2gen and said he was wrong. Then User Name replied with:
"I meant every 4G63 DSM... I don't consider the 420A to be 'DSM powered' anyways"
Then botlfed replied with:
"you need to pay a little more attention in class buddy...
the picture above IS a 4G63..."
So technically botlfed was wrong. The picture above his post was of a 420a.... unless the picture was of a transversely opposed n/a 4g63... and in that case call me stupid.

I believe he was talking about the pic at the beginnig of the thread which was of a 4g63T. As for you Username, i was stating that on all 1g's that is where the intake is, and on only 2g turbo's, that is where it is, on the 2g n/t it is oppostite, and just for your info, they are all dsm's, made at the same plant, with the same companies.

if there was any confusion...it is a 4g63t...and well porgress for this car soo far is gettin je pistons and many more internal mods.

and just for your info, they are all dsm's, made at the same plant, with the same companies.

actually, if you want to get real technical, and i will just cuz i'm in an asshole mood, dsm died, 2g's were not built under Diamond Star Motors, as it was disbanded. yes, granted, its still a 4G63 Turbo, its basically the same freakin thing... but 2g's are built in chrysler plants, not mitsu/chrysler (i.e. DSM). sorry, dont flame me, just thought i'd contribute to the anality (yes i made up a word) of this thread.

My 95 AWD Talon has a sticker under the hood that says DSM, and I think that most of them where built in Normal, Ill which is a mitsu plant. But I could be wrong on the last part?

No DSM died in 98 when chrysler sold the remaining 25% of its share in the company to Mitsubishi for $100 million that led to the end of DSM

in 94 they sold 25% of their 50% to Mitsubishi for $25 million. That and poor sales led to the end of the Plymouth Laser
