Hey guys I'm new to the site and I'm pretty excited to chat with other DSM owners. I have a 95 Eclipse GST and I'm looking into new exhausts. I'm interested in the either the Megan Racing Turboback or the Megan Racing Catback. I wanted to know what you guys thought would be the best one, or if you guys had any other suggestions.

Do you have access to a welder? Nothing fits as well as a well done home made system. What I'm fabricating is larger than the Megan system AND fits better thus far. (3.3" O.D. / 3.0" I.D. made from aluminum) weighs less too I'm betting.

Turbo back is always better than cat back, as it replaces the factory down pipe.

That being said, the best exhaust I believe is still Thermal R&D. Back in the day they were the only company to produce multiple designs, and test each for maximum flow and HP gains. No other company currently has done any sort of R&D like they did all those years ago. Companies like Megan Racing would either copy the design of someone like Apexi, or just design it based on the easiest route. Nothing wrong with Megan at all, in fact my 2g runs their Turbo back and I am happy with it, but if we are truly asking who is best, then my vote would be Thermal R&D.

Thanks I'll check it out!
