Just because one person has a picture of the rota rim broken doesn't mean their bad wheels. Like Silver99os stated its the same picture always posted in all wheel threads, you can't just go with something that happen to one person without your own experience. But if you have money for some real named brand set of wheels then nice go for :)

Tanking a curb at 35+mph is not a slight impact. The owner of that integra admitted to hitting a curb doing about 37 mph. Evertime a wheel thread comes up someone has to post up that same picture thats old as hell. Unless you have personally owned a set of Rotas that have broke like that you should probly just keep your mouth shut. ;)

yeah that picture* ((is old))even that thread from it on NSX forums it probably *not probly :)

You have to wonder how many times that has actually happened. Is it really that common?

I think so. At most I seen hardline crack show up in Volk rims, but noting like this.

I bought a set of these (work vs-xx)for my GFs 05 Jetta GLI and they are really nice wheels. Always wanted to try these on the GSX but different bolt patterns, might just buy adapters to try them on and see how they look.

Look at how many have Rota Slipstrims. They don't have problems. The reason that happens to rims is driver error. They aren't jsut gonna snap off from easing out of a stop light.
