Balance Shaft Problem

Ok I just got done tearing down the motor everything is good . Motor is fine just want to start fresh... Oil pump balence shaft came out fine looks good... went to go pull top one out .. it was stuck .. pulled a little harder came out and the back bearing fell on the ground and its all scraped up as if it was spinning ,, Now I have a BS del kit but an i gonna have trouble putting the new bearing in?? The front one is still in the block ?? what should I do ... this is shot now ??

With the delete kit, the bearings are rotated so you block the oil passages. If it's scraped up like you say, I would at least make sure the oil passages are clean and clear of any potential debris.

This is one reason for going with a BSEK, to rid yourself of possible spun bearings at the balance shaft.

If your working on a bare block, tap the oil hole and put a bolt and some sealer in it. Or measure the bearings in the kit and see if they fit tight. All u need to do is plug the oil holes that went to those bearings.

Oh ok good .... The block have to go to the machine shop anyway I just wanted to make sure this block is still good to use .... thanks
