ok i got myself a new balance shaft belt to put on(no im not eliminating them). I came to notice that since i have a 6bolt, the vfaq site tells me i have to use some ghettofication to get the sprocket on and off. My question to you guys is, is there another way to get the sprocket back on without making that tool. My friend has some air tools but i don't know how he could set the torque to 80ft/lbs since i've never really used them before. Second question is, what oil seal is it that im supposed to replace. If anyone knows the part number i would appreciate it. Thanks

Yes you need a 1/2 in inpact gun to get it off. Or you can just pull your motor and eliminate the ballance shafts and rebuild the motor have the engine ballanced like I am doing for no reason :thumbdown
God dam ballance shafts

but what about putting it back on, how do you torque the thing to specs. Is there a way to do this with air tools w/o overtightening it?

Ross just install the bolt in as far as you can with a 1/2 drive hand rachet then put the inpact on it and hit the trigger for a second on and off then your done. The torque on that is no that imortant it just needs to be tight so it doesnt fly off while the engine is running.
