What the honey combs do?

basically they restrict flow a little bit. usually if you remove them and then unplug the battery for a while, and then plug it back in, start up the car, and drive it around then it will be fine. its not really worth taking them out though.

The honeycombs do restrict flow, but they also straighten the airflow out which helps metering in the stock maf. Without them in or atlest the top one, you could get idle surge or other idle problems.

Removing the honeycombs isnt really considered a mod because the gain is nodda. That silencer though... trash it. You can actually remove the lower honey comb to get more air in but your car will run a little leaner.
