Right now while my car is running, the RPM surges between 1100 and 1600 while idling. When i unplug the sensor the car will idle just fine. I cleaned everything out, i did not pull the top off because i was advised by a mechanic not too. He hooked it up to his computer and determined that the MAF was bad. Would this be a good time to swap a GM MAF in or would it be less of a hassle just to find a regular MAF? Can i only use the FWD 2G MAF? Brand new the MAF is around $300. I think i'll just look for a used one. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

ask some people running maf-t if they wanna sell their stock mas, thats prolly yr best bet other than searching dsmtrader and dsmtuners classifieds
