Bad ISC

Well my car had been Idling funny for the past 2 weeks and I finaly had time to try and trouble shoot it. Turns out that it was my ISC. I just ordered a Brand New OEM one from DSM ISC for $139.75 (thats the New ISC, New O-Ring & Shipping Price), I'll let you know how it goes when I get the new one in.

How did you know it was your ISC? And what exactly was wrong with the idling?

Cars Idle was all over the place.
Did a voltage check on the plug and everything was fine.
Did an OME check on the ISC and it was over 2K on 1-2 and 4-5 pin checks.
Plus with it pluged in and turning the key on and off it was just shuttering an not moving like it should

Well I just got the new ISC in my car and it seems to of solved my idle problems. The car holds right at 800rpms (my dsmlink setting) now and it dosent idle all over the place like it use to when I was driving around, it also got rid of the problem of the car stalling after I would try to start it when it was warmed up.

The new one is a bit smaller and its all black but it is the right one. I took it to the dealer ship to compair to what they have and it is the exact same one they they had down there for $160 less than what they sell it for. Im happy with my purchace and would recomend that anyone but there ISC from www.dsmisc.com if the need to replace theres and dont want to get a used one. $139.75 vs $300 just cant be bet. (unless its free that is).
