Mike,

Any chance you'll be at the INO this Thursday and can bring the map of where you drove?

I am getting a fall tour from Phoenix organized for a Sunday in early November (maybe the 4th).

I have a few ideas for routes to check out.

Did you see the "cheezy" video I threw together from last week when three of us went up South Mountain?

What if we tried the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the 24th?

Anyone open that day or is that not a good choice?

Is Sunday better as long as we beat the rush back to Phoenix?

What about Sunday Dec 2nd?

I am sure we could work one of those days out.

You wanna come up with a route Dave?

We can discuss at the INO meet tomorrow if you'll be there. I was thinking of all meeting up at Anthem and I-17 early in the day. From there we go to Jerome via Precott, Sedona, Flagstaff and the I-17 home. That takes us up and down some pretty windy roads and also some scenic spots for pics and picnics.

Map shows about 5 hours total drive time for the full route. Depending on the group and schedules we can shorten that route at several locations.

I love the drive to Jerome coming in from Prescott. I also like the drive up Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona with a stop by Slide Rock Park but that may be too lengthy a drive for some people.

I also like the drive in and out of the Salt River Canyon east of Phoenix. A loop out that way up through Show Low and back through Payson is about 6 hours driving.

You can count me in. Hope till then I`ll have me motor rebuilt and ready to roll

I could possibly be done then. Still have some odds and ends to tie up on the stroker but if I can get Phuong to tune me before then I might be out. Not much for "cruising" with a twin disc. Gets to be a pain to drive after a while.
