AWD to FWD for dyno

Is it possable to disconnect somthing to make my AWD into a FWD for the Dyno??? There just isn't an AWD dyno 400 miles from where I live.

I saw on slowboys website under the driveline category, a product that said "lock it into 2wd for that dyno run" maybe you should look at that?

Yes there is, you need a viscous coupling eliminator.

Or if you were really lucky, your car could have come with JDM driveline goodies that all you have to do is undo a bolt and pow, fwd.

I know AMS does this all the time at a charge of like $50 ontop of tuning b/c they don't/didn't have an AWD dyno.

We used to do it when we had a 2wheel dyno only, its pretty simple.
1. Drain fluid
2. remove X-Fer case
3. remove endcap of trans while in car
4. replace stock viscous with welded or eliminator
5. seal and replace endcap/ replace fluid
6. have fun on the dyno.

I DO NOT miss converting Evo's to fwd! Thank god for our 424x Dynojet!!
