1G AWD Fuel sending unit differences

Wasn't sure where to put this...

I've gotten some conflicting information searching on here and some other places, but can anyone confirm that a 91 AWD sending unit / pump assembly will work with a 93?

I don't want to commit to buying a $500 car with a blown motor if the sending unit isn't compatible with my 93.

As long as they're both AWD. All 1g AWD sending units are the same and they are all different from 1g FWD sending units.
