Auto Trannys with FMIC get in here!

I'm running an intercooler with both the inlet and outlet on one side. I'm not sure how I like it. It's fine for a mostly stock car, but I'm probably going to get a different one in the future. This FMIC is getting the crap beat out of it here in the winter. The hangers I have it on are so bent up it's insane. I guess that's what happens when parking lots have 8" of snow/ice and the plow truck leave a 12" mound of snow/ice crap to run the car through at intersections.

I purchased the Greddy Style FMIC off ebay. Fits like a glove without going anywhere near the tranny cooler.

How much was this kit off ebay? Ive been looking around the forum and I hear ebay is the place to get Exhaust and FMIC. So thats where I think Im going to get mine. But what Im questioning is they dont specify if its for an Automatic or Manual. Like I mentioned above, best results with the most little work possible. If anyone is stunting a FMIC ebay kit with a stock tranny cooler... hit me up with the link please. Thanks

Here's he link for the one I got:

eBay Motors: OBX FMIC Intercooler Kit 95-99 Eclipse DSM 4G63 GST GSX (item 200300577195 end time Feb-17-09 18:17:26 PST)

No FMIC kit will specify if it is for auto or manual because they are universal. This particular one goes no where near the trans cooler because the piping all goes to the passenger side. Here is a pic of it installed on my car with the bumper off:

The couplers and t-bolt clamps were crap though. I ended up buying new ones from Extremepsi.

I also agree with Joyfil. The kits are universal and it wont matter if you drive and auto or manual.

I have the SSAC kit. I actually did have to remove the tranny cooler, so I bought a separate one and installed it in the old SMIC location. This working well, until I put a hole in the cooler from a rock. My aftermarket radiator has a section dedicated to cooling another fluid that wasn't being used at the time... so I decided to run the ATF lines there, has been like that since. I plan to get another tranny cooler soon enough and to run it in tandem with what I currently have.
