the OP was about a year ago.

he is better with the SAFC because thats what he had on his DSM, and when i asked him about 'link he told me he had never worked with 'link before but they are a great group of guys and are VERY anal about the cars they are working on (not to mention KC *owner* is good friends with my parents, and i have known them for a long time) they even got a new AWD dyno now IIRC... if i cant find someone who knows how to do a timing belt to help me out, i'm taking my car to them for the timing job.
DSM PWR
I no longer attend the meets because of theft issues i have had while attending meets (screen, floormats, gauges, broken windows) i'll stay home and enjoy my car alone...
If you ask me the Wednesday meets are the only good one, its usually a small crowd (maybe 15cars) and all higher end cars z28/z06/ws6/evos/sti/300zx/dsm/etc..Hey Rich...I'm toying with the idea of cruising up to the meets this Saturday...you goin?
.I'm sure you were just being brief with your statement dsm_pwr but just to clarify on your comment of the s-afc. You only care about running stoich at idle and cruise. You are actually not pulling fuel, but changing the amount of air (karman?) the ecu sees at certain rpm's. The ecu does the rest. Hopefully I don't come across as a smart ass because that is not my intention.

?SAFC is cake to tune.... all your doing really is pulling fuel at certain RPM's to run stoich while making sure you dont lean to much out. DSM link is where you can start to pull timing and actually tune for stuff like upgrades/meth/race gas/etc.
Yea SOME meets are pretty "ghetto" lately the saturday meets have been having alot of gang fights which are caused by ppl who drive regular carsIf you ask me the Wednesday meets are the only good one, its usually a small crowd (maybe 15cars) and all higher end cars z28/z06/ws6/evos/sti/300zx/dsm/etc..
yea ill be going up therelike i said theres alot of "ghettoness" at saturday meets but you really just have to park AWAY from them and get in on the runs & your fine. Let me know if ya go
i was just sharing some light on a good tuning shop... danial knows his sh*t, just never USED dsmlink... hes done alot with EMS, and Emanage (another piggyback) but never dsmlink... it must not be that popular in austin... he works mainly with highend cars (porsche, ferrari, vipers, stuff like that) but like i said, he had a 2g, and was making pretty damn good power on a busher 20g and SAFC! he is the only person i would trust with my DSM... other then Tim, but he is in san antonio (owner of Maximum velocity motorsports) and they specialize in mitsubishi. (i worked their all last year while i was at UTHSC) but hes got no dyno...
losers) and a few nice evo's and sti's... mustangs, and crap.... i walked around and talked to the evo owners for a bet, got board (which is RAIR if cars are involved) and left...
the ONLY wednesday meet thats good is at the Taco Cabana off of 183 & Burnet Rd. Its a good meet trust me...You wont see any Hondas (unless boosted)
! i saw that on my way home from work a few times, and IIRC it was wednesday!
I HATE Taco Cabana!!!
