I'm in the starting stages of building my motor that I'm hoping to drop in when spring / summer arrive. Which assembly lube should I be using if the engine is going to sit from now until summer? I don't want the lube to dry up and fail when I go to start it up 6-7 months from now. Can anyone offer some insight?

I would get a good quality Redline or Royal Purple assembly lube. However, any good quality lube should hold up for long periods of time. I would install the engine, and pull the ECM fuse, crank it a bit to build up oil pressure before the initial shart. Put the ECM fuse back and fire it up. It will have assembly lube and oil in it, primed and ready to fire.
