Anyone in the Tacoma area willing to help out a local?

Hey guys I have a 1g that I just put together and I was just wondering if anyone in the area would be willing to help me get a decent tune with Dsmlink. Long story short its bogging out around 4500 and is not tuned really what so ever. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

You sure you just don't have a boost leak? So you have DSMlink, but it doesn't have a tune?

To be honest man im not sure if I have a boost leak I dont have a boost leak tester. And as far as a tune no, it runs pretty rough right now, I dont know what im doing as far as link comes. But i also dont have a wideband at the moment, will getting a wideband make it a lot easier with the tuning process?

Yes you will need a wideband. I'm surprised you don't have one with the mods you have done already. You should really make sure you don't have a boost leak first. Pick up a tester online, or make one yourself. There are plenty of guides out there you can look at.

I know pretty dumb I dont have one. So you think it will run a lot better once I get a wideband and Dsmlink is able to use those values instead of the "Estimate A/F" ratings? And look for boost leaks?

Once you have a wideband, you can go about tuning your car. There are plenty of guides on here for that. Or you could just got get it tuned at a shop.
And yes, do the blt. You should check for them every now and then, even if your car isn't bogging like it is now.
