You need to email the seller and get more info on what is on the inside of the engine. It sounds legit but some people can be very good at "sounding" legit. Just be carefull. Ask for a phone number and call or email them.

Some guys on 2GNT were skeptical about this guy and his ad. I would just stay away. Only 12 positive feedbacks and you are gonna give the guy 3 grand? I would pass.

i would definately pass on anything to that caliber of technicality on ebayfor the following reasons

1. you dont know exactly what you are getting
2. you dont know the seller
3. its ebay
4. the best thing to do is fork over the 3 g's and get the stroker kit yourself

The 2.4 swap in it's entirety, including SRT internals (not required) could be had for far less than $3000 if you are not afraid of junkyards and forums.

And, there is only one way I'd give that guy 3grand for that motor... if I was there at his shop to pick it up before handing him the cash.

This is like the smartest newbie 1st Post I have ever seen! Seriously! Congrats!

However, just because its ebay doesn't mean its bad! Pretty much everything I own is ebay related... I have full Star Turbo setup that I peiced together with Ebay Parts, and Evo IC Pipes from Ebay, HID's from Ebay, Headlights, tail lights from Ebay, Alpine Stereo from Ebay... all good stuff!

You just gotta use your better judgement. So if your known for being a moron, ask for someone else's advice haha
