Hey all, I've got a green 96 talon and I'm thinking about using a green tint on the windows with a 20% black over the green to darken it up but I'm skeptical about how the green will look with a black top on the car. Anyone used colored tint and have pictures of it?

NOOOO PLEASE DONT DO THAT  every car that I have seen with colored tint looks soooo bad IMO. Just get solid tint it looks so much better. If you put that colored crap on you will never hear the end of ppl calling you a ricer

Yeah, I agree, It just looks really bad. I've seen a blue mustang (mid 90s) with blue tint and it looked horrible. Just stick with the black. Looks much better regardless of the car's color.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm     I don't know. You might have a good point about that one. I might go with 5% so it matches the rest of the top of the car by being really black. Cheaper to go with just one layer too.

If you wish to see out of your car, do NOT go with 5%. From what I've heard, you won't be able to see a thing.

From what you've heard? I've had 5% on a couple vehicles before and it's really not to bad to see out of. Helps with some of the heat in vegas too.

I don't think my tint looked that bad. However the State police here in NJ frown on side windows being tinted so I had to remove it off of my door windows to avoid tickets. But I still liked the look before I got busted by the cops.

I like that tint. I was thinking about getting that, but the dude at the tinting shop said Mi. police would nab me in a few days. and i'd probably have to get it taken off.

But I lov the look of the silver tinting on a silver car.

Front 2 windows: 4 inches from top of window *No Exceptions, 35% is a myth*
Rear: Unlimited
I found that out after i got pulled over twice in one night within 45 minutes of each other. Thank the state troopers for this. A lot of the City cops in michigan don't really care.

IMO Stay with the solid black.

I could see colored tint if it was really dark. However, just green or just blue looks retarded.

If it's more black than [insert color], then I think it would look alright.

So I can have the whole front window tinted, besides a 4" strip at the top?
