First car ever was a clapped $400 1990 GS from an auction house. Fixed it up, threw some 17” TSW wheels, Eibach springs, pacesetter headers with full back exhaust, gutted the interior plan was to autox it or at the very least a neat little mountain runner.
Had the GS for about 10 years and ran great! I loved it. The road noise, the mechanical sensation… BUT always wanting the TSi/GSX
Well while visiting my now wife in Boise 14 some odd years ago the vehicle was TOWED due to the apt complex and some rules they had regarding vehicles that weren’t “registered” well short story long it got towed and I couldn’t get the funds to bail it out as at the time I was unemployed and didn’t have $600 so I counted it as a loss.
After all this time I’ve had 3 children of my own, have acquired a decent paying career, purchased land, built a house. Wife has a BMW…. I get a 1992 Eclipse GSX!
SO! I am back in the DSM game and expect to bleed like I did last time, hopefully when this one gets towed it’ll be back to my house on my own trailer haha
