Any creative lower bumper support ideas?

The crescent shaped piece of sheet metal that supports the bottom edge of the bumper cover so it’s not all floppy. I took mine off and it looks like a road-kill rattlesnake. I could straighten it but it’s so rusted it will probably break. Does anyone have a practical replacement idea? (Besides getting a replacement from a dealer. That’s no fun.)

Take a piece of Sheet Metal, cut and bend to mate up.

Takes about half an hour. Problem solved. You only need to pay for the metal (or find some )

I’m trying to think of something that is rigid enough to serve the shape retaining purpose but flexible enough to, um, flex for those occasional curb location judgment errors.

I went to school in Nebraska. That makes me an expert on rattlesnakes. Please, don't insult the snakes. They haven't hurt you...yet. Sssssssssssss.
