I am curious about the insurance company when they total out a car. When they "total" it out and they pay you, like they did in snowboard's case, do they put a salvage title on the car or do you have a choice to leave it a clear title? I was always curious about how that worked. Sorry if this is a little off topic, but i saw a perfect chance to ask.

If the value of the repair with OEM parts and labor exceeds 70 % of the cars value,it will be considered totalled. This is what i my insurance told me back when i had my 2gnt that got hit.Thats is very fixable. If the car is clean like you say,i say fix it. A mountain ran in front of me last year and i hit it,made a lot more damage then you did to the front.Had to have the chassis starightened back 2".I spent about a grand in the whole ordeal. With some budgeting and diggin up good deals,It shouldn't be too bad at all.god luck with it.

You have to get the salvage tiltle before you get the money from the insurance company. So you have to get a reconstucted title if you want to drive it. You can not get registered with a salvage vehicle.

Hey guys got my talon fixed. Frame is straight and got a new rear bumper cover. I got a megan racing catback with a high flow 3inch cat.
Here are some pics. I also intalled an mhi evo III turbo and tein sport springs.
