If anybody wants a smooth shift check into paying the extra dollar for some amsoil. I used some of the fluid brand that people suggested to me on here. There much better then cheap fluid but today my nieghboor talked me into getting some amsoil for my girlfriends Escourt Zx2. WOW!!!!! It was -2F yesterday morning and the car shifts jsut like if it was winter. Not only that the shifts are the smoothest I have ever felt. I will soon be converting over to the same tranny fluid. Jsut my 2 Cents. Has anybody else had experiance with amsoil?

First dealer who pipes in gets this locked.

Otherwise, yammer away. I'd sure think you'd want to do something if you lived someplace with weather that humans can't endure.

How's Synchromesh work out in those places?

synchromesh in the winter? hahaha your funny. until everything fully warms up, nothing is meshing smoothly.

Synchromesh in MY tranny did not improve as much as i saw with the amsoil. A ton of people are in the boat that amsoil with the 25,000 miles and no oil change is obsured. I thought this as well. In fact so did my nieghboor untill he went to an "amsoil" oil school and saw actual results.

I put amsoil in my 87 Truck and it was NOT a good idea for that. It started leaking more oil then before, my fualt though, the amsoil guy told me never to put it in a car that leaks oil. Shoot me.

I am waiting for some body work to be done on my car and I will then proceed to add amsoil to the tranny. I know it sounds unbelivable but this stupid ZX2 shifts like it was summer out when its frezzing temp.
