Alternator got on fire.

i drive car and all lights go off and white smoke comes under the hood i stop the car and i see flame under the car going from alternator , fuses are ok any idea what happen

Does the pulley still move?? If not chances are it was culprit in setting your alt on fire. Either that or a bad ground.

ground is perfect , pulley move i see positive 3 white cables like 2 inches from alternator is burn

Is your PS dripping oil on the alt?

that sucks, almost happened to me.

White smoke is oil. I'd follow the above advices and check oil leaks. My alt seized and tore up my Greddy pulley.

Maybe some oil from the head or a leaky valve cover. Regardless some sort of liquid PS or Oil tried to lube up around 90 amps of juice like dropping a radio into the tub. Most likely the core grounded out to the case via liquid which blew your voltage regulator.

Unless you have some sort of coal fed alternator, In which case you should replace your horn with a train whistle.

i find problem small metal bracket with plastic inside hold the wires on alternator plastic is missing and metal broke insulation on wires and make shortcut i buy new alternator 130A and install new wires .
update:
replace 1 fuse 40 amp and my dsm back to life
